Traveling sustainably by carpooling?

Traveling by train?

Leave well prepared. Plan your journey with the Journey Planner in the NS app (Google Play / App Store) or on ns.nl or 9292.nl, for both your outward and return travel.

If you need a train ticket, there are various options. Purchase your ticket online in advance to skip the ticket machine. That even brings the cost of your ticket down by € 1 compared to the ticket machine. If you’re sure you’re traveling during off-peak hours, take a look at our 10% discount with Off-Peak Early Booking or Off-peak Hours Group Ticket if you’re traveling with a group.

It is also possible to check in with your debit card, credit card or wallet on your mobile phone. If you do so, you travel 2^nd class and without a discount. Read more about traveling with your debit card here.

Finally, you can use an OV-chipkaart to check in and out. Make sure to load sufficient credit on your card in advance for both journeys.

Free bicycles between station Helmond ‘t Hout and Automotive Campus

Take a rental bicycle next to Helmond ‘t Hout train station (exact coordinates) in GoAbout app (Google Play / App Store).

All the rides between the Helmond ‘t station Hout and Automotive Campus are completely free from April 16 and to April 19. Bicycles can also be picked or dropped at many other locations within the city of Helmond (map & availability) but in this case a starting fee of € 1,90 and € 0,70 per 30 min applies.
